Head:
Smooth, plain headed showing no marked flatness.

Beak: Medium in length and thickness.

Wattle: Small, fine in texture, White in color.

Eye: Pearl eye, bull in white selfs acceptable.

Eye Cere: Small, close fitting.

Neck: Arched neck. They retain neck shaking characteristics. Trembling motion. Not to be excessive shaking.

Body: Prominent breast. Approximately 14 to 16 oz. in weight.

Legs: Medium in length.

Feet: Clean legged. Red in color.

DISQUALIFICATIONS:

Split tail feathers.
Vertical tail.

FAULTS:

Flights carried below the tail.
Bull or cracked eyes.
Scooped tail.
 


Plumage: Tight in feather.

Tail: The tail should be carried horizontal with the floor. The tail should never raise above the horizontal position. The tail should appear as an upside down "V". The tail shape is more important than the quantity of feathers. A full tail is desired.

Color: All colors, including colored body with white tail.

Flights: To be carried on the tail.

Ornaments: Sometimes with a crest. Shell or peak, shell not showing rosettes. On occasion some come with grouse legs.
