Origin: Developed from cresses of Berlin Streiflge (striped or barred) and white short faced Racing Homers.

General Impression: Short, Iow slung, with wide stance and vertical neck; clean legged.

Breed Characteristics:

Head: Small with high and wide rounded forehead, without flat top, plain headed.

Eyes: Pearl with small pupil and wide iris. Cere color to match that of the beak; in red-striped dark; in yellow, light.

Beak: Short, thick, set in; in red-striped dark; in yellow light.

Neck: Medium length, perpendicular, no shaking.

Breast: Wide, protruding.

SERIOUS FAULTS:

Husky body.
Neck shaking.
Peeked beak.
Red ceres for yellows.
Light ceres for red.
Red in iris.
Poor bar color.
Colored feathers on breast.
Faded bars.
Bluish neck.
 


Back:
Short, wide, lightly sloped.

Wings: Short and strong; flights resting on tail.

Tail: Short and closed.

Legs: Medium length and clean legged.

Plumage: White with red or yellow stripes (bars).

Color and Patern: Ground color is bluish-white in the red-striped; creamy white in the yellow-striped 2 (at most 3) red or yellow bars on wings.

Areas to be Evaluated: General appearance - Body form and stance -Head and neck - Color and color pattern - Eye and eye cere.
