Eye Cere: Should be fine in texture and flesh color.

Beak: Should be wild type or field pigeon type. It should be black in color.

Eye: Should be bright orange in color.

Stance: Should be upright and alert.

Legs: Grouse legged or clean legged. Faults: Any feathers on a clean legged bird. On a grouse legged, not enough feathers.

Colors:
Black:
All parts of the body except the wing shield, neck ring and finch marks should be a deep black color. Tail should show no bar.
Faults: Washed out or faded color, or any blue color.
Bronze: All parts of the body except the wing shield, neck ring, finch marks should be a deep rich bronze color. Tail and wing flights should be black. Tail should show no bar.
Faults: Faded or washed out color. Any blue color.
Neck Ring: Neck ring should be ¼ inch to ½ inch wide. It should be white in color. The top of the ring should start ½ inch below the beak. On crested birds the ring should come up on the back of the crest. The ring should have an even line.
Faults: Any body color showing in ring. Any larger than ½ inch wide. Disqualification: Any neck ring over two inches wide.

Head:
Plain Head:
Plain head should show no sign of crest. Neck ring should not come up too high on the head. Head should be solid color.
Faults: Any white on head or faded color.
Peak Crest: Peak crest should be center, needle pointed, ¼ to ½ inch in length. Gracefully curved upwards with some mane behind and beneath it.
Faults: Any white on head or faded color.
Shell Crest: Shell crest should be straight and centered on head. Crest should start and stop at each ear. Neck ring should come up the back side of the crest. Head should be solid in color.
Faults: Narrow crest, white or faded color on head.
Tail: On all colors, the tail should be black with no bar. The rump should be black.
Faults: Bar on tail or white on rump.
Wing: Wing shield on all colors should be white with either lace or spangle pattern. Flights should be black with a finch mark on the tip of the feather.
Faults: Any white showing on flights when wing is folded and bird is standing. Any flight without a finch mark.
Finch Markings: Each flight feather should have one finch mark at the tip of the feather. Finch marks should be white in color and should not be too large.
Faults: Any finch mark that is too large and runs into the white color on the flights. The finch mark should be separate from any other white color on the feather.

Wing Shield Pattern:
Lace Pattern:
Lace pattern should be an evenly laced pattern over the entire wing shield. Lacing should be fine, and define lacing. Should be black or bronze in color.
Faults: Any sign of spangling.
Spangle Pattern: Spangle pattern should be an even spangle over entire wing shield. Spangling should be black in color.
Faults: Any sign of lacing.
