Head
(3 pts.): Medium with refined shape. The head must not be too long. The back of the head shall be shortly rounded. The head in front view shall be wedge shaped. Slight flatness permitted on top.

Eyes (3 pts.): Situated in the center of the head. Bright and white (milky white) iris. Black pupil.

Cere (3 pts.): Flesh color except in blacks. Blacks have dark ceres.

Neck (3 pts.): Medium, sharply tapered. Broad at shoulders, narrow at head. Tight and clean in front. No gullet.

Feet (3 pts.): Small but strong. Toe nails should be black on blacks. All others flesh color. Color of feet, red.

Legs (3 pts.): Short, red, free of feathem. Fairly wide-set with a rear placement.

Beak and Wattle (6 pts.): Blacks should have black beaks. Dun (brown) should have dark beaks (not black). Yellow and red should have flesh colored beaks. Wattle should be flesh color and smooth.

Station (3 pts.): Pronouncedly vertical rather than horizontal. Head up and back. More is to be expected of cocks in this matter.

Expression (3 pts.): Smartness, eagerness, but not wild, with no suggestion of dull lack of interest.

Color, Markings and Pattern (14 pts.): Black, red, yellow, and dun (brown). The black color shall be deep, with reddish metallic luster on cheeks, neck, and upper breast. The red color shall be deep, with reddish metallic luster on the breast, cheeks, and neck. The yellow color shall be bright with faintly reddish silky metallic luster on neck and breast. Dun (brown) shall be deep with reddish metallic luster on cheeks, neck, and upper breast.

Self: Pure color throughout.

Mottle: Can be dark to light markings. Primaries should be colored.

Condition (20 pts.): Must be in perfect health, free from any deformity and in a generally hard and firm condition. Vigorous, clean, and alert. Close and perfect in feathering. Firmly muscled. Light in weight for size.

Wings (10 pts.): Stress importance of secondaries. Broad, flexible, overlapping feathers should be present. No gaps in the wings. Flights should be carried atop the tail and give every sign of strength. Top line smooth without "sail".

Wing butts showing.
 

There should be ten primary feathers.

Tail (5 pts.): Noticeably narrow, but capable of great expansion. Should have 12 tail feathers.

Chest (5 pts.): Broad and capacious. It should be big from side to side rather than projecting forward.

Back (5 pts.): Broad at the shouldem, it tapers to a trim, strong rump to achieve the breed's powerful wedge shape.

Fork (5 pts.): Firm and close.

Keel (5 pts.): Shallow and long. Coming quite close to the fork (vent end).
